Reality Framework: Step 1

Step 1: Configure your CDN

While CDN file consumption may be dependent on your authentication architecture, most deployments can follow the steps outlined here for a quick and successful implementation of the solution. These videos walk you through configuring a SharePoint document library as a version controlled CDN host location to deliver your code via the Reality Framework. Steps are provided for both Single domain name or Multiple domain names

Configure CDN host for:
Single domain name

If you do not already have a CDN, or wish to configure an alternative host, look no further.  This video walks through configuring a SharePoint document library as a CDN host delivering files to the same domain name your users are browsing.

Multiple domain names

For broad use of your CDN code base across more than one SharePoint domain names ( on-prem, online or both), the CDN will need to be configured for anonymous access to the files.

Your organization may already have an enterprise CDN or continuous integration platform configured for this purpose and currently hosting code distribution for other systems. In such case, extract and upload our template CDN Starter Pack to leverage this location and skip to Step 2

Otherwise, this video walks through configuring a SharePoint document library as a CDN host delivering to multiple different domain named web applications or site collections your users are browsing.
